About
I am a PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, advised by Prof. Pawan Goyal. I am working on alternatives to conventional token-level language modelling. My research explores concept- and byte-level representations that generalize more naturally across languages and modalities. In parallel, I study how computational models can understand art beyond its surface-level content, including its meaning, emotional impact, and creative intent. More broadly, I am interested in the relationships between concepts, geometry, and creativity, and in how these connections can lead to richer and more human-centred representations of information.
